WordRank is run by one person, and the address below reaches her directly — not a ticket queue or a shared support inbox. Whether you have hit a bug, spotted a bad answer word, or want to talk about working together, write in and you will get a reply from the person who built the game.
hello@wordrank.netWhat to write about
- Bug reports. Tell us the browser and device you were on, what you were doing when it broke, and the puzzle or room code if you had one. A screenshot helps more than a description.
- Feature ideas. Hint behaviour, the daily ladder, streaks, sharing, private rooms — if something feels clumsy or you want an option that is missing, describe how you would expect it to work.
- Word list and answer corrections. If an answer word seems unfair, offensive, misspelled, or ranks its neighbours strangely, name the word and we will review that entry against the source data.
- Language requests. Every language on the site is built from its own native text rather than translated from English, so new languages take real work. Tell us which one you want and it goes on the list.
- Partnerships, press, and content. Coverage requests, embeds, guest articles for the blog, and anything commercial — including advertising and licensing questions — can all come to the same address.
- Privacy and data requests. Questions about what the game stores, or a request to delete a nickname you posted to the Solve Wall, are handled by email as well. Our privacy policy explains what is collected before you ask.
How quickly we reply
Email is the only channel we run, and we read every message that arrives. Most replies go out within two to three business days. Bug reports that stop the game from being playable jump the queue, so if the board will not load or a round cannot be finished, say so in the subject line and we will look at it first. If a week goes by with no answer, the message almost certainly landed in a spam folder on one side or the other — send it again rather than assuming you were ignored.
You may not need to write at all
A fair number of messages we get are answered by pages already on the site. How to Play explains what the ranks mean and how to read a cold guess. About covers who makes WordRank and how word closeness is actually calculated. The blog collects strategy write-ups and puzzle breakdowns, and the privacy policy spells out cookies, analytics, and advertising. If one of those answers your question, no need to send anything — but you are always welcome to.
